BAT INDONESIA IS LOOKING FOR CATEGORY DEPLOYMENT ASSISTANT MANAGER

FUNCTION : Marketing

LOCATION : Jakarta, Indonesia

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Achieving sustainable category growth through market intelligence, creativity, and strategic vision. Deployment of marketing activities end to end, with knowledge of brand building and development, thought leadership, consumer and customer targeting and segmentation strategies.

Reports to                : Category Deployment Manager Head of FMC Brands

Reporting Level : Individual Contributor Geographic Scope : Local

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Support marketing deployment plan according to the business strategy for the market to drive brand performance and deliver on business goals
  • Work with key partners and cross functional teams to develop marketing plans and ensure their effective execution to drive business growth
  • Support on 360 marketing campaigns deployment and collaborate across teams to deliver coordinated marketing and communications and build an alignment across a variety of channels and vehicles
  • Proactively seek brand exposure opportunities to increase brand transparency and reinforce brand positioning

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics, or business-related subject areas
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, with a deep understanding of brand/category marketing management in FMCG industry
  • Track record of both developing strategies to meet goals and implementing effectively on that strategy
  • Exposure to a multi-national and cross-functional work environment

Functional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Excellent command of English in both writing and speaking
  • Strong analytical skills and a creative, but logical mind
  • Marketing strategy development (Brand, Communication, Trade, Pricing, Activation, etc)

Managerial & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Effective and impactful communication, presentation, and facilitation
  • Thought leadership skills across function and grades to drive single-minded focus to deliver business ambition
  • Excellent organizational skills to plan own and others’ work, establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Having positive sense of commercial acumen and deep personal responsibility for the organization's success
  • Constant stimulation of Curiosity, Creativity, Courage and Collaboration
  • Strong interpersonal skills and being a great teammate are essential
  • A strong self-starter, with a willingness to take responsibility and get things done in a pressured environment
