British American TobaccoSwitzerland has an exciting opportunity for a Multicategory Planning Manager in Lausanne!
We are looking for an experienced marketeer to cover a temporary project (12 months) to drive our fast-paced business transformation.
Position Overview:
Coordinating the execution of strategic and tactical plans for multicategory activation approach to achieve sales, profit, and share goals.
Having excellent execution of cluster strategy as main priority, is the contact point/person between category team, Consumer Experience (CX) and trade to ensure achievement of sales and budget objectives in line with CX strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Helps shifting Consumer experience strategy and activation plans from single brand to multicategory planning in line with CH/AT strategy
- Contributes to build multicategory consumer journey: cooperation with insights to identify polyusage opportunities, demand spaces & occasions definition.
- Establishes conclusions and recommendations based on market data and brand performance (IMS, Scanning) in collaboration with I&F to drive daily business execution and planning, follows ROI and MS impact.
- Supports cross-functional orchestration of MC activities with CX, categories and Trade teams.
- Supports recommendation of touchpoints allocation per brand/multicategory, per channel and KA based on consumer data and brands growth expectations for media (online and offline), retail (shelf and additional placements) and ex-retail (Festivals, Horeca ..)
- Close collaboration with Digital area and EM teams to build Multicategory ecommerce platform, consumer profiling and hyper care.
- Builds a network among Digital Area teams, other markets and global consumer experience team to bring trends, learnings and best practices to help to accelerate CH/AT path to multicategory activation.
- Support campaign planners to build activation “selling stories” for Trade teams to effectively present the new approach and instore initiatives to their customers.
- Prepares internal meetings, business reviews and contributes to external/ customers reviews.
- Participates in monthly business meeting where relevant.
What are we looking for?
- Experience of 4-6 years in brand/ activation marketing
- Strong analytic skills, knowledge of consumer and market tools/methodology, business acumen.
- Good knowledge of local trade and key customers (CH and AT).
- Problem solving, team working, autonomy.
- Good team & personal leadership skills
- Hands-on attitude and quick decision making
- Excellent communication – top and down - in multicultural environment
- Positive energy and drive, capacity to federate and lead cross functional teams w/o hierarchy link
- Quick learning skills; ability to build and influence business relations,
- Capacity to work in ambiguity.
