ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Organizational wide IT Budget management, delivery and administration support. Overall review budget proposals and prepare financial documents and reports. Key finance person to support and administer the IT budget management and delivery.

Reports to: Area Head of IDT/Area Corporate Finance Manager

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

IDT Financial Planning & Analysis Responsibility

  • Prepare, develop, and manage the appropriate templates for IT budget (Marketing Digital Business Solution, Corporate DBS, Service DBS, Operation DBS)
  • Coordinate project communications with local finance teams across various functions, including monthly reporting and asset validation.
  • Conduct monthly monitoring of cost expenditures and update the relevant systems (SAP ECC, E-flow, Planisware) accordingly.
  • Ensure alignment with approved budgeting policies, including adherence to deadlines and the management of the internal BAT budgeting process.
  • Collect and validate budget estimates from stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyse previous budgets, considering the benefits and losses experienced in past quarters and financial years to inform future budget planning.
  • Consolidate budget data and provide an overview of the financial status across all DBS budgets.
  • Prepare detailed reports on discrepancies and amendments to the budget throughout the financial year.

IDT Finance Support Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete process of IT Purchase Orders, including handling from PO through Goods Receipt (GR) to Invoice, as well as managing monthly and non-PO transactions.
  • Manage and register IT assets within the SAP ECC system, including tasks related to depreciation, disposal in accordance with internal BAT policies, lifecycle monitoring with MWP, and other related activities.
  • Maintain documentation for local IT contracts and provide support for finance audits as needed.
  • Assist with contract management using Icertis.
  • Support administrative tasks related to the COUPA system.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience.
  • Skilled in budget and financial management, including planning and control.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, evaluation, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail and precision.
  • Enthusiastic about working in finance and eager to learn.
  • Quick to adapt to new systems and tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
