ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part of Finance - Operations Finance. We’re looking for a driven individual who is excited by leading change and challenging the status quo to join our Operations Finance team to support our business sustainability agenda through cost optimization, finding opportunities through close business partnering, and using our global network to apply standard methodologies in propelling our Vapor and Modern Oral business segments, (New Categories), to the next level. We are seeking a leader that thrives at critical thinking, problem-solving, synthesizing ideas, written and verbal communication including executive presentation skills.
Reynolds American Incorporated (RAI) is positively transforming the tobacco industry and Operations Finance will play a fundamental role in unlocking value in support of our corporate strategy and transformation journey in which New Categories is essential. This Director role will business partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Commercial collaborators for New Categories on a local and global level to provide beneficial financial support in driving long term balanced margin growth. Become part of a global company, to lead both onsite & offsite teams through organizational change. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, a proactive approach to planning that can use time-zone advantages with a team across a global company.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Partner with multiple senior collaborators and provide strategic and financial mentorship to cross functional business partners – internal and external.
Provide partners with substantial analytics, as well as insights regarding spend, capital expenditures, forecasts, and potential risks/opportunities of financial performance.
Develop and run adaptive financial analysis and modelling for a constantly evolving category.
Consistently work with business partners to identify cost reduction initiatives and clearly communicate changes to management.
Maintain tight financial controls and SOX compliance within the New Categories area.
Partner with the Global Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure the best delivery and pricing of our New Category products.
Supervise import tariff rulings and FX changes and analyze the impacts to product cost.
Partner with Supply Chain to provide scenario analysis to improve inventory levels.
Lead ad-hoc projects as required.
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

Do you have experience in a business partnering Finance role supporting operations or commercial functions?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Proven track record of creating and delivering on sophisticated commercial and corporate finance strategies.
8 - 10+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting or relevant area.
CPA, MBA, MAC or international equivalent.
Experience in developing and leading cross functional teams.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate financial strategy, results, and forecasts.
Demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking with strong influencing and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively work in a fast-pace and ambiguous environment.
Strong eye for business.
Ability to tailor communication relative to the style and needs of others.
Ability to challenge the status quo as vital.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area.
