BAT Korea has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Commercial Finance Manager – Operations in Sacheon, South Korea.
The Commercial Finance Assistant Manager – Manufacturing is working partnership with Manufacturing Team focusing on Manufacturing Cost, Capex, Fixed Asset Management, and Control within Manufacturing.
Reports to: Commercial Finance Manager - Operations
Reporting Level: Individual Contributor
Geographic Scope: Local
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage Manufacturing Cost to deliver it as per target. Business partnering with Manufacturing Team on the budgeting process, generating savings initiatives, and closing activities.
- Lead Factory CAPEX process, preparing Business Case and ensure the CAPEX spending is as per target.
- Fixed Asset Management - ensuring the accuracy of the fixed asset information, manage the process based on guidelines.
- Drive 100% SOx compliant in Manufacturing area, ensuring control awareness to business and compliance.
- Support IFRS, KGAAP, Tax, and Internal Audit.
- Support ad-hoc request from various collaborators trough appropriate prioritization and engagement.

What are we looking for?
- 4+ years of experience in commercial finance functions with operations/manufacturing environment
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related field, or accounting certification (KICPA / USCPA / CIMA / ACCA) is preferred
- Fluent in both English and Korean language
- Throughout understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/BPC/BI
- Critical thinking, data analytics skills, strong abilities with Excel and Power point
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment
