BAT PAPUA NEW GUINEA IS LOOKING FOR TRADE MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE
The Trade Marketing Representative (TMR) is responsible for the successful management of a defined geographical territory (defined as “patch”), by utilising commercial business acumen; strategic planning capability, a drive for results and passion for success & energy. The TMR key areas of focus will be: 1. Deliver Operational Metric 2. Commercial Conversations – both Internal and External 3. Planning and Prioritization 4. Personal Leadership

ROLE SUMMARY

Business

  • Achieve area coverage, call frequency and outlet visit plan in order to maximise route effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure the appropriate product range and visibility are achieved in all outlets.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels, product quality and freshness through stock management and report on supply chain and product issues.
  • Confirm that pricing is in line with the company strategy and report anomalies in key areas.
  • Maintain accurate and relevant outlet information
  • Provide market information and reports to ensure that the relevant people are fully informed at all times.

  • To demonstrate a high degree of self-discipline and constantly seek to raise standards and deliver stretch results.
  • To proactively seek opportunities for growth and self-development.
  • To develop relationships with key decision makers in the retail, wholesale trade and effectively leverage the relationships to achieve business objectives.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

Experience/Education:

  • Ideally, experience in FMCG for at least 2 years or previous experience as a TMR, AM or similar
  • Tertiary Marketing or Business Qualification desirable
