British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a US Product Improvement Analyst in Monterrey
Ensure the availability and integrity of specifications released by the Product Team and the PSMT Team
Manage the implementation of product improvements and maintenance, as continuous monitoring of brand quality performance, complexity reduction projects, cost, and process optimization.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the availability of product specifications at FMD, PMD and SMD levels for both line products and NPI brands and products in the development phase that are required for production in the factory (Prototypes, research Products)
- Prepare the Master Data Monitoring report with information analysis to give the Product Team visibility for adjustments necessary to maintain product data consistency.
- Ensure the implementation and communication of product specification changes in the applicable systems (material changes, complexity reduction and cost optimization projects)
- Support the Operations area with Product issues and the LEX area in the availability of information for applicable regulatory reports.
- Follow up on critical events to ensure, US Compliance documentation.
- Support on non-compliance events that can be related to the Supply Chain & Manufacturing.
- Follow up to the correct product traceability.
- Support on audit of regulatory processes such as Document Management, Change Control, Consumer Complaints, CAPA and Non-Conformance
- Ensure Quality KPIs targets.
What are we looking for?
- Studies: Bachelor Degree
- Basic knowledge in SAP System
- Proficient level of MS Office Applications
- Advance English: written and speaking.
- Preference experience working on quality background or related field, including knowledge of tobacco manufacturing processes, food, pharma, Computer Systems Engineering processes.
- Strong aptitude for information systems or similar critical thinking with high attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot problems via testing and data analysis.
- Prioritize and multi-task to meet all reporting deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels across the company.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and willingness to learn and develop and develop understanding of cigarette manufacturing process.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data integrity.
- Ability to interpret analytical data, formulate conclusions propose action plans.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
