British American TobaccoUK has an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Activation Deployment Executive – Retail in London, Chiswick

The role is responsible for showcasing our market leading brands in retail, building belief in our mission to offer the best nicotine products to consumers all over the UK. 

The job holder will be responsible for the management of the design, development, production and delivery of relevant marketing campaigns & product launches through Point of Sale Materials (POSM) in all retail channels.

Traditional retail is the biggest distribution channel for New Categories in the UK and the biggest source for consumer acquisition. The CX Executive will need to understand the retail channels to be an integral part of creating the best-in-class executions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilize brand toolkits and work closely with trade and planning teams to develop, produce and deploy POSM packs into retail stores, to effectively promote brand campaigns, new product launches and “always on” messages.
  • Liaise with Trade Planning, Key Account teams and account media agencies to develop impactful KA media plans, ensuring the business’s strategic requirements and budget allocations are properly met
  • Management of the planning, alignment, booking and execution of all KA Media across organized retail channels.
  • Owning the KPI reporting per channel and producing valuable evaluations of all campaign deployments, to recommend improvements for future activities.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve common goals across all artwork and POSM production requirements
  • Produce detailed agency briefings and monitor external agencies to ensure the production of artworks or printed assets are of a high quality, as per brand guidelines and meet the agreed costs and timelines.
  • Understand the brand strategies and consumer behavior studies, in order to produce the most effective POSM or KA media campaigns for the right consumer, in the right place, at the right time.
  • Plan, track and manage the assigned marketing budgets.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant marketing/ trade experience within UK, understanding the trade universe
  • Activation experience in similar companies will be beneficial
  • Proven track record on achieving KPIs and managing projects, delivering on time and in full
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, notably PowerPoint & Excel
  • Strong communication skills with ability to converse at multiple seniority levels
  • Project management experience
  • Willingness and ability to learn fast
  • Able to work independently
  • Attention to detail, analytical and able to see bigger picture
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
