JOB TITLE: Extension Officer
FUNCTION: Operations - Leaf
LOCATION: Sri Lanka
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Ensure effective management of tobacco growing and purchasing operations to meet volume, quality, and cost requirements. This involves providing efficient extension services to a group of farmers registered with the company in a specified area.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Agriculture or equivalent Diploma in Agriculture, or any other relevant qualification.
- Prior experience in a similar field will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Possession of a valid motorbike riding license.
