WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- To support sales process for providing superior & timely service to our customers as per their demands. Assist in warehouse operations including stock management, Excise documentation, planning/ shipment operatinons from factories and to distributors and implementation of EH&S, PI&T and Security Protocols.
- Prepare and execute plans for efficient distribution and movement of stocks from the area warehouse to distributors, ensuring availability of all brands for meeting daily requirement of sales and approved stock duration in co-ordination with Logistics team at head office, field management and factories.
- Co-ordinate with the Trade Marketing Team, plan and prepare date-wise shipping programs for the warehouse and direct dispatch markets to ensure adequate stocks for sales requirement.
- Establish close working relationship with trade marketing teams in order to gain high level of support for the successful execution of warehouse operations and stock management plans.
- Prepare route plan based on monthly sales targets and deployment of transportation and close liaison with logistics service providers.
- To monitor and review stock levels at warehouse to ensure that stocks remain within permissible levels and take corrective action when necessary including management of supplies / advance shipments from the factories / inter-warehouse transfer of stocks.
- To develop self in the management of Sales Order Processing system in SAP for timely shipment of stocks to the distributors and transport planning in TMS.
- To perform stock reconciliations as per laid down procedures.
- To ensure equitable distribution during stock shortages, to maintain availability to consumer and to prepare contingency plan to cater to eventualities resulting from unforeseen events.
- Implementation of FIFO/ FEFO and stock rotation, to avoid deterioration in product, maintain freshness and quality.
- Ensure implementation and practice of required Excise, Security & EHS standards related to warehouse operations.
- Prepare freight and revenue budgets for the warehouse and ensure budgets are utilised in the most efficient and effective manner. Manage financial accounts and assets to ensure that supply chain resources are secure and used in the most effective and efficient manner.
