British American TobaccoGuyanahas an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in Georgetown,Guyana

Manage the Warehouse processes to ensure the correct supply of Finished Goods supports the supply chain while maintaining the integrity of the stocks.

Oversee and drive the continuous improvement of all warehouse processes.

Provide Support to the Marketing Deployment Executive (MDE) in the management of Merchandising Bond.

Provide Support to the Area Manager (AM) with the management of 2nd Category Products.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Complete the weekly offloading of 40/20 feet containers of Tobacco Related Products into the Finished Goods (FG) Bond and ensure the correct delivery of Finished Goods to the distributor according to First in First Out (FIFO) method of stock management.
  • Supervise the External Supplier (Labourers) ensuring that all Key Performance Incentives under their contact such as offloading of containers, 100% execution of stock checks, reshuffling of warehouse, destruction of damaged products are done in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Complete the daily, weekly, and monthly stock count of the Finished Goods (FG) warehouse to guarantee the physical quantity matches the ones registered in the system. Any difference should be investigated and reported immediately to the Finance Manager.
  • Work along with the guidance of Finance to design a simplified way of counting and tracking stock movement daily within the Finished Goods (FG) warehouse.
  • Ensure the correct receipt of Finished Goods (FG), verifying the quantity received in the system and physically is the same. Any difference should be investigated and reported immediately to the Finance and Area Managers.

What are we looking for?

  • Diploma in Warehouse Management/ Supply Chain Management or relevant experience in Inventory Management.
  • Knowledge of how to execute Stock Counts and Reconciliation.
  • Experience in supervising contracted resources.
  • Knowledge and experience in Logistics & Warehousing.
  • Computer Literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook (MS Office Compulsory)
