British American Tobacco Denmark has an exciting opportunity for a Support Executive in Copenhagen

The Support Executive will play a crucial role in the Trade Denmark team ensuring smooth operation of selected processes in our Trade organisation and provide essential support to our colleagues both in back-office and in our field force.

You will work closely with the Trade Denmark team, but also our other teams based in the Copenhagen office to ensure system- and ad hoc support. The ideal candidate will have strong organisation, administrative and communication skills - and a keen attention to detail.

On top of the support element to the role you will also be responsible for and driving your own projects within our Trade team to support the business objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing practical events such as meetings, workshops, and company gatherings for Trade Denmark.
  • Supporting various departments with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.
  • Monitoring and managing departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets. Handle the creation and management of purchase orders, including coordination with suppliers and internally. Prepare, review, and follow up on invoices for both customers and suppliers. Ensure accurate recording and bookkeeping of financial transactions in coordination with the Finance department.
  • Manage and maintain product data in GS1, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Administrate and optimize product placement in stores using Spaceman software to ensure maximum sales efficiency and inventory management.
  • Project management and ownership of own projects

What are we looking for?

  • Experience from a similar role within sales, administration, coordinator, or supporter.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in budget management, invoicing, and purchase order creation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP and Coupa would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
