Transactional Finance Junior Manager

You will be responsible to coordinate the team and perform a range of financial transactions and tasks related to the preparation of the statutory accounting reporting, accurately and efficiently, ensuring all internal controls are adhered to, to enable DBS to deliver an efficient and effective service to its customers.

The objective of this role is to enable DBS to meet business goals by providing quality general accounting analysis and overall business support for end markets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate the team on all activities in scope, to ensure optimum delivery.
• Contributing to the effective and timely delivery of General Ledger and Fixed Assets activities, including month and year end closure activities, routine journals, provisions, accounts reconciliation ensure all the requests are actioned within the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement).
• Ad-hoc analyses on balance sheet or P&L accounts for End Markets within their responsibility.
• Be responsible for reviewing and approving monthly and quarterly reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts, according to the existing policies and procedures.
• Monitoring the timely allocation of bank balances as per the existing policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for supporting all legal entity reporting requirements as per the deadlines and with the frequency set in GRF and Global calendar.
• Support in implementing internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience 2-4 years in a relevant role.
• Solid knowledge of the General Ledger Transactional end to end processes and Global Operating Model.
• Understand and apply relevant financial skills and knowledge.
• Understand the impact of the accounting process and practice.
• Team and Time Management skills.
• Solid SAP, Microsoft Office, Blackline knowledge.
